NOTE: Some browsers settings might cause the game to run very poorly. Please enable fps counter from the game options, if it's far below 60 during gameplay, it's going to be really hard to do anything.

Gameplay tips: 1. Never let go of the gas! 2. Turn with confidence, you can always correct by turning the other way :D

A short, frantic and noisy scramble against an all-engulfing sandstorm in a randomly generated track.

You must ride the Asphalt Spine, the great man-made road-serpent which never seems to curve quite the way you remember. Make it to the next bell in time or be consumed by the sandstorm!

Hi the art and sounds are really amazing! I despise the talent nice job! About the gameplay tho, (for me) the angle at which You turn is HUGE and even though I tried few times I really can't ring more than 2 bells XD Maybe the game is too hard, maybe steering is too big or maybe that's a skill issue. Nevermind I just got 5 bells, but still staying on track at this point feels impossible for me. Nonetheless the art and sound is really making it up so much - its impossible.

One bug I found as well with changing the volume - it only works if You "slide" it. If You press at some point it moves, but doesn't change the volume at all. Maybe You could make it work both ways or do it in a way that You're only available to slide it? :) dunno

Fun game nice job

Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback! I made the turning super aggressive to give the player the ability to react to turns really quickly, but the downside is that it's pretty hard to fine tune the direction you're facing, even if you tap really lightly :D.

Thanks for finding the volume slider bug, I'll try to fix that.

If You want obviously, You could add something that would lower the angle that You are turning according to speed that You're driving at. It might give a bit more space for driving fast and turning (being able to do it) and slowing down for 90 degree turns, it's kind of simulating the real world driving either way if You dont want to lose control of the vehicle

Thanks for the tips. I wanted to make a game where there was no slowing down, just frantically reacting to turns while flooring the gas, and I think I achieved that (at least for myself). It's very far from real world driving of course, but it's no simulation :P

Fair enough - then it works as intended :))

And the way I would fix that is enabling the player to only grab the "pointer" and moving it while holding, the way it works right now. Just add that You have to hold Your cursor on it to change it
